This post is about one specific client but I have at least 10 more Chase horror stories that are equally as bad. Anyway, I consider myself very competent and efficient when completing a mortgage bailout for one of my clients. So much so that when I know I’m right about something I will fight it to the bitter end which often leads to extreme frustration.
I’ve been working with this particular client since July of 2009. She hired me because she was on a trial payment under Obama’s Making Home Affordable Modification Program, HAMP for short, and she had made six trial payments when initially she was told she only had to make three. I told her that making six trial payments was normal but then I looked at her paperwork and noticed that Chase was overcharging her by $170 per month.
Her hardship was that her husband had passed away and she was on a fixed income and couldn’t afford her payment. When you’re on a fixed income, it’s really simple to calculate you’re HAMP payment because all you have to do is multiply that income by 31%. For some reason when Chase did this simple math, they somehow came up with a number that was $170 higher than it should be…go figure.
Well, my client didn’t know this until I informed her. We eventually got Chase to adjust her payment and get her a permanent HAMP modification agreement by November. This agreement stated that she would begin making her new payments in January of this year. At this time we considered this a big victory because I only had to show Chase how to do there job once.
Now, fast forward to February after my client has made two of her new payments. She receives another package from Chase containing another HAMP permanent modification agreement with slightly different numbers and a first payment due date of April 1st.
We immediately call Chase and ask what’s going on? Several departments and 45 minutes later, we’re told that she needs to follow the most recent agreement that she received. So, my client has the new agreement notarized and she sent back to chase per their instructions.
Then, in mid march she received the signed, executed copy of the HAMP permanent modification agreement that she signed in November along with a “Notice to Accelerate” because she is behind by one payment, March’s. This was the payment that the new agreement, along with the Chase representative, said she didn’t have to make.
So since mid-March, I’ve been following up with Chase trying to get to the bottom of what’s going on and this is where my hatred for Chase bank begins. Apparently, in February, Chase changed their guidelines for third party authorizations, the document that companies like mine must submit to these mortgage servicers to speak on our clients behalf.
All authorizations must go through their legal department so they can determine the validity of the third party for fraud protection reasons. Personally, I think this is great that Chase is trying to protect the personal information they collect on their clients. However, with their new policy in place, I have faxed over 16 third party authorizations on this file since March 15th.
This is where my problems begin. Chase has like six different departments that work on loan modifications. My authorization can be found in all departments accept for the Immenent Default department which happens to be the department that I must speak to in order to solve this problem.
So, every-time I call in on this file, which is two times a week at least, I have to first speak with the Way Forward Department, which I think means the “We don’t do shit but read a computer screen department.” I always start the call telling them that they can’t help me and I need the Immanent Default Department but they always want me to tell the same, long, drawn out story only to confirm what I already told them.
But, somehow this department can find my authorization which is absolutely brilliant since they can’t help me. Nothing better than to be authorized to speak to someone that doesn’t know anything…talk about productive!
Anyway, after they realize they can’t help me, they transfer me to the Immanent Default department. Lucky for me(being sarcastic), it takes at least 30 minutes on hold before I get to connect with Immanent Default.
Once on the phone with the rep in Immanent Default, I’m told that they can’t find the third party authorization on file and they can’t speak with me. I inform them that I will conference call my client and she will give me verbal authorization for me to speak on her behalf.
Mind you, I’ve faxed my authorization 16 times already in the last 50 days but, it is what it is. So after verifying that it’s ok with my client for them to speak with me, I must now explain what the problem is. After the explanation, this representative tries to come up with their version of what’s going on but unfortunately they don’t have a clue.
So, now I have to break everything down to them, using the numbers that they already have, and show them how their math doesn’t work and I know what I’m talking about. This usually takes about 20 minutes and results in them telling me I’m right and that this needs to be fixed.
This is where it gets really exciting! They put me on hold to try and come up with an answer which, in and of itself, is fine. However, the wonderful technology that Chase has implemented on their phone systems only allows you to be on hold for a certain period of time before it transfers you to an available representative.
Seems like a rational form of customer service accept it transfers you back to the Way Forward Department in which you start the whole process over again or a recording comes on and says “I’m sorry, your call cannot be completed. Please try again.” Either way you end up starting all over again.
I went through this process four time today! I was on the phone with Chase from 10am until 1pm trying to fix this problem. half of that time was spent on hold and the other half was spent showing Chase how to do there job and where they screwed up. The sad part is that I can’t send them a bill on top of the fact that the problem still hasn’t been corrected.
This means that I get to spend more of my time, that I’m already limited on, trying to fix a problem that should never have happened, and trying to do so with the incompetent employees at JP Morgan Chase. If I didn’t sincerely care about my client’s results, I would have gladly refunded the small amount of money she paid me and given up already.
Fortunately, for our clients, that’s not how we do business. Like I said before, when I know I’m right, I don’t stop until the bank see’s it my way. Thanks for listening to me vent and I hope you take this post as a lesson which is don’t give up and know your stuff!
I’ll keep you updated on this client and I can’t wait until we’re done because her testimonial is going to be awesome! If you want to learn more about this process or find out if you qualify for a mortgage bailout, make sure you sign up for my FREE Mortgage Bailout Video Series.

you wouldn’t believe my story it’s a continuing nightmare which started in January of 2009 and continues through today. Chase Bank is full of incompetents and only after i filed a complaint and sent it to Washington and Dimon did something start to happen 6 months later.
Pat, unfortunately your story is common when dealing with Chase. In fact, a large majority of our clients have already attempted this process on their own before enrolling in our program. It’s really sad how hard these mortgage servicers make it for people to get approved for a program that they clearly qualify for. I’m hoping everything works out for you and make sure that you stay in constant contact with Chase at least once a week. Good luck and let me know if there is any way I can help.
Oh my word. We are dealing with the same thing. For 8 months. 8 months. If anyone I knew did our jobs the way Chase did, we would all be fired. I am in the process of slowly losing my job as a medical transcriptionist because of the wonderful government’s involvement of the EMR systems that doctors must use for their medical records. This takes away the jobs of transcriptionists, and is a faulty system to say the least. So the government sticks their nose into medical records, and it’s a mess. Well, it can’t be any worse than what they have done with the mortgages…thank you Chase. The head of Chase has been very vocal about how he doesn’t approve or agree with the HAMP program because people have signed a contract (i.e., mortgage) and they must pay it and that’s his thing. Well, he had no problem taking the billions of dollars from the government did he? Couldn’t put his hand out fast enough.
Right before I found out about my job, I had a car accident, injuring my neck. So we’ve had tons of medical bills. Physical therapy, co-pays, portions insurance doesn’t pay. Our medical bills have been running around $1200-$1500 a month. We told Chase that too. And that is not going to change anytime soon, thank you lady who doesn’t know red means stop.
As soon as I knew I was losing my job, I called to say – look – what we can we do about our mortgage? So we talked about the HAMP program and we did all we had to do to apply. Copying TONS of papers, UPSing the package of information ($10 of copying, $49 for UPS). We called them every week. Every blessed week. As stated above, from department to department to department, each idiot telling us something completely different. Every week. They don’t know what color their own underwear is. After being told time and time again that we had no “relationship manager”, our paperwork finally “expired” and we had to reapply. So we went through it again. Went through the same mess again – week after week after week as my paycheck got lower and lower. We are now making about $2000 less a month and can’t make our mortgage payments. Our house isn’t big. It’s an old style farmhouse that we have put $50,000 in to fix up. We weren’t the people who bought a house out of our means.
Anyhow. After the second time of the paperwork expiring, my husband went nuts and told them this had to be resolved that very day. Now this was 6 months into the process. Maybe two weeks later, we finally got a relationship manager. Had to send ALL OF THE PAPERWORK AGAIN…..Each time, copying fees, UPsing fees. Ok so now because of Chase’s delay, we are 8 months behind on our mortgage. Our credit is toast. And guess what? On Friday, we finally got a package from Chase. Yeah, they lowered our mortgage $50 a month. What a modification. That helps. how much did they get of OUR taxpayer money to help people in need???? Really? What a freaking slap in the face. Shame on them. We really don’t know what to do right now. I am facing a fourth neck surgery from a car accident. And one of the biggest banks in the U.S., who has been given billions of dollars of OUR MONEY won’t help us? Makes me sick. Wake up government and hold these idiots accountable.
Typical Chase. If you didn’t already know tyhe HAMP program is based off of your gross household income multiplied by 31%. This number represents what the government believes to be an affordable principal, interest, taxes, insurance, and association fee if applicable. This does not include any second mortgages or junior liens.
If your mortgage payment only went down by $50 per month, the relationship manager mught have been using your previous wages or a year to date figure that inflated your potential HAMP payment. If you can’t afford the modified HAMP payment you could persue a traditional modification that might reduce your payment further but nothing is guaranteed.
One of the first things I have my potential clients do is compare their current mortgage payment to rent in their area. If you are behind on your mortgage, owe more than your home is worth, and your payment is higher than rent, it may be in your best financial interst to let the home go to foreclosure and rent.
I haven’t experienced that problem however chase has tried to screw me over. I was recently scammed out of 100 dollars when i only had a dollar in my account. At the time I was at my moms visiting and knew nothing of it. Chase didn’t bother to confirm such a suspicious payment and just confirmed it. When I got home and got a later for chase saying I owed them over 140 dollars I nearly cried. Considering Im not even over 21, no job, not going to school yet, not even 5 bucks in my pocket and I have a bill thats growing every week by 15 dollars nearly killed me on the inside. So people were nice enough to pay me if I did favors for them. I only had 100 dollars on my way to chase to reduce the amount I “owed” them and they call me harassing me not helping harassing me. I was telling them they would be paid fully in a week. But the guy was saying if i can get the money from my mom right now. She just makes it by she has no money to spare I tried telling him that over and over till he only gave up when I yelled at him on the phone. Yup I had to yell to show him to back off. Really 7 days isnt a long time at all to wait for a payment I didnt even make. The only reason I got the money early to them was because my grandma was more then kind enough to give 100 dollars that 50 dollars more then i needed and im VERY greatfull but chase is a pain ….
Chase has horrendous customer service. It doesn’t pay to be a good customer and follow their rules. They treat everyone like criminals. I’ve been trying to negotiate a short sale on my home and they gave me nothing but a run around and wrong information to delay the process. They don’t want to get 90% of the loan paid off, they’d rather I walk away and foreclose, then they can cry to the federal government for more bailout money.
I’m just going to chime in here as a bit of therapeutic venting on my part. My story is very similar. I applied for the Hardship Modification after the developer from which I purchased an investment condo went bankrupt and failed to pay their agreed upon taxes and assessments. I tried to keep up with back tax bills I was getting and the unexpected assessments (both of which were supposed to be paid for a full 2 years when payments from the developer stopped a year out), but when the tenant vacated things started going downhill and my savings quickly got depleted. Add that to a wife fighting breast cancer and it was the perfect financial storm. I was relieved when the Chase “Make Home Affordable” plan came to my attention and the initial Chase staff I spoke with were very polite, helpful and encouraging. In fact, everyone I spoke with at Chase was actually very polite. But after fully completing the Application 3 times, 3 different ways (their “requirements” would change every time i submitted the application), I called them to get a status update and was told that I “didn’t have enough income to qualify for a modification”. I was told that I would be receiving a letter detailing how I needed to make 25% MORE money and then i could receive a modification. SERIOUSLY?! If i made 25% more money i wouldn’t NEED a Mod! Why did they make me waste hours and hours of time over 3 months of back and forth, stringing me along to finally tell me something so utterly stupid? If you ask me I don’t think they are modifying anything but a TINY fraction of loans (if any). Maybe they just have to run a certain amount of applications thru the program to satisfy some gov’t requirement since they took all of our Bailout money.
Anyway, I started this journey by typing “I hate Chase Mortgage” in Google and that’s how I’ll end it. While i can’t so easily dismiss my Chase Mortgage yet, I have closed my bank account, and credit card is next. I took out a loan on my 401k and my mortgage is up to date. Meanwhile Chase has made a killing on all of the late fees, ‘drive by assessment fees’, ‘corporate advance fees’, etc. while they dragged me thru their useless modification process.
Chase wins. i lose. i hate Chase.

p.s. – I never did receive any letter from Chase explaining the terms of my rejection.

I’m not sure if this is your primary residence or an investment property but here are a few tips either way. If it is a rental property or a second home, you will not qualify for the government’s Home Affordable Modification Program but you can still get what’s called a traditional modification depending on your investor.
Chase will make it very difficult for you to get help if you are current with your mortgage payment because they will take all the interest you are willing to pay them until you are flat broke. I’ve only had one client qualify for a modification while they remained current and it took over 2 years. I also had to talk this client out of quitting at least three seperate times.
I will no longer even try and help homeowners that are current because it isn’t worth the lengthy drawn out fight. Since April of this year, servicers have been using a pre-qualifying tool called the Imminent Default Indicator that is supposed to measure the homeowners risk of defaulting. This tool will automatically tell the mortgage servicer that you are not at risk of imminent default if you aren’t at least 30 days late on your mortgage. It’s absolutely rediculous.
So you can either keep paying on time and drain all of your personal savings to try and keep a home in which you, more than likely, owe more than it’s worth…or, you can realize that you are trying to “pollish a turd” and take a hard stance with your servicer until they modify your loan.
However, it’s very important to know that the math works out in youer favor when taking such a stance because if you don’t qualify mathematically, you might as well ride out the foreclosure process and rent. Hopefully this helps.
I have had the absolute worst service from Chase. A rental property I own had a fire. Luckily it was fully covered by insurance. The damages were just under $200k. The ins. co. sent a check for 60k. The check was signed and sent to chase. Chase then sent a check back to me for 20k. Now, the demo and clean up alone was listed by the ins. co. as costing 10k. I called Chase, spoke to a rep, and faxed over the 86 page report from the ins. co. which detailed to the nail what was being replaced, the cost, and the total amount which was being paid out. Chase then told me “In order to send more money we will have to order an inspection.”. Confused, I asked “What for?”. Chase said “If we send more $$ we will have paid out 50% of the money we have. We need to be sure 50% of the work is complete.”. I said “But there is almost 200k in damage and the demo and clean-up cost 10k. You only sent 20K. The work is nowhere near 50% complete.” The Chase rep then asked where I got that figure from and I explained it was the ins. co. report. I was told he had to get the file and look into it and he would call me back.
Two days later I call chase back….of course I get a different rep. I basically repeat the entire previous conversation almost word for word. Then I’m told by the rep “I have to get the file and look into it and call you back.”. I said that is what I was told before and he says “It would take up to 72 hrs.” Conversations like this go on for MONTHS as I keep asking to talk to higher supervisors. Finally I call my ins co and explain the situation. The ins rep cannot believe it. He gets another check for 60k released and says he’s gonna call Chase. This circle jerk with chase continues for almost A YEAR. After the second disbursement Chase releases more money but is still holding 60k.
I cannot remember the title of the woman I finally spoke to but it was several levels up the food chain. She tells me to have the inc co send all the money and I laugh at her. I ask her “Why would the ins co. send all the money? They are the one that wants to make sure all the work is being done. They are not going to send another dime and let you hold on to the money. Why should they?” Then I explain that once a year is up the coverage I have for the loss of rents will end and there will no longer be payment of the mortgage and I will sue when chase tries to foreclose because i have all the phone records, my ins reps communication, and in 5 years a payment has never been a day late. Guess what, suddenly all the money for the job was released……
Needless to say I HATE CHASE BANK. I am refinancing my mortgage even if it costs me money to do so. And as I have been calling lenders I ask if Chase is a company they would possible sell my mortgage to because if it is I will not do business with them.
chace approved a loan fon me in 2007. After only 5 minutes in there office. I asked why so fast. I was told this loan will be backed by HUD. It took over 3 months after I moved in the house to close the loan. Problem after problem. On top of everything I was told I had to produce a letter from my accountant saying I would pay myself another 5,000. Who get a raise like that? Must be common for chase employees. I have had 2 walk away from that house. Thank you chase bank. You never should have givin me the loan.
Chase is the mortgager of my home. I am a government employee. Back in 2008 the municipality that I worked for implemented furloughs 2 days monthly which decreased my take home pay by $500 per month. In October 2009 I called the Chase Homeownership center to request information on their home modification program. I was told that I had to be 3 months behind in my mortgage payments to qualify for the program. In October of 2009 I was current. On January 15, 2010 I submitted an application for the Chase Home Modification program. I readily supplied all the required supporting documentation. From January through April, I called the Chase Homeownership center to find out the status of my application. All the while (from November 2009 through April 2010, I have not made a mortgage payment, because I was told I could not while the application was being processed. Finally in April 2010, I received a letter from Chase informing me that I qualified for their Special Forebearance program. I made the required trial payments, the first in May 2010, then in June and July. In September of 2010, I received correspondence from Chase informing me that my time in the program had expired. Chase stated that they had sent me correspondence requesting that I update my original application. I never received tha correspondence. I hastily updated the application, sent it express overnight mail, but to no avail. On October 22, 2010, I was served foreclosure papers (with no sale date). In the interim, Chase states that my only alternative is to reinstate the loan by paying the entire total of payments in arrears in addition to their attorney fees. I was saving money while waiting for the outcome of the initial application, however I had to replace my 25 year old furnace in November 2010 ($6,500) and energy bill ($4,500). Currently, I have little discretionary income and now must take out a loan to keep from losing my house. I cannot refinance because my current mortgage loan is delinquent.
I can relate to everything written in this blog! The hatred that I feel for this company can not be describe with words. All I know is I want to strap the head person of this company to a chair and make them listen to my story over , and over, and over, and over untill his/her ears bleed. Then I want to financially rape them like they have done me. I was offered the making homes affordable plan when I was pregnant with my son and on maternity leave in which I only received a percentage of my salary. I was on trial payments for almost 2 years. During those 2 years I had to send in updated applications with proof of income every other month. This is like 20 pages every time. Then, they denied my application for the Obama plan and said they were going to apply for their inhouse modification. Three months later they send me a plan in which I would pay them more money a month than my original morgage! I called and the person I spoke with told me to send it back and they would look into it. Another 3 months later and 2-3 calls a week speaking with someone who gets paid good money for you to tell your story to and do absolutely nothing about it other than tell you to call back in 2 days, I am told you can not decline the plan. They wanted me to pay about 7 or 8 thousand in arrerages or foreclose on my house. I followed all their Bullshit rules and paid every payment, and still got screwed. Now mind you , I only paid like 60 bucks less a month for 2 years on their ” trial period” so how that astronomical number was found, I have no idea. I had to file for chapter 13 to keep my home. Two weeks later, I get an apology letter for the last modification which contained “errors” ! Now it’s too late and I am stuck in chapter 13 which I only filed because I had no other choice. They really are the devil. This only briefly describes the hell I go through. If ever there is a lawsuit inwhich I can tell my story to a judge involving the very poor communication of this company, I am IN!
I want to start a class action suit against these a-holes ! My story is the same as most of the blogs here so I won’t go into details…but they are the WORST!!!! I thought that I was done with their B.S. until I received notification from one of their departments that my mortgage was jumping $500 a month because they had ‘underestimated my escrow…Duh. Two weeks notice to jump a mortgage payment 1st from $900+ to $1200+ and now to $1700+…They aren’t even supposed to be escrowing me!!!!UGH…There’s got to be an attorney out there willing to take on these bureaucratic bumblin’ bozo’s…sw
I’m sorry to hear of your current frustrations but now with the higher payment due to the escrow shortage, you may be able to qualify for a modification. It all depends on your gross income but an increase of $500 per month because they can’t use a calculator is rediculous. I wish you the best of luck with your dealings with Chase.
The only way to resolve all the abuse from the major banks especially CHASE, is for us citizens to go and close all our checking and savings and CD’s at CHASE and other big banks and put our money in local FDIC protected credit unions. Once they see their deposit money drying up, they will know we mean business and they will have no choice but to help families in foreclosure and reduce their outrageous fees and BONUSES!!!!!
PLEASE PASS THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW ASAP!!!!!
I have a similar experience to Suzanne. We closed on our house (1950s ranch, fixed rate mortgage) Jan. 2010, with a lawyer and our real estate agent in tow. This month we received our escrow analysis and discovered that Chase is increasing our payments by nearly $1,200/mo bringing our payments up from about $1,600/mo to nearly $2,800/mo because they so severely miscalculated our taxes. Our escrow is negative $5,000 from last year, with a projected balance of -$8,000 by year’s end. Our city taxes actually decreased this year and our school taxes went up only minimally. I’m 6+ months pregnant and am scheduled to take a two month unpaid leave of absence from my job early this summer. I don’t know how we’re going to get by. I currently work part-time as I’m also a graduate school student. Now I fear I will have to drop out of school with the hopes of finding a full-time job. So far the only response Chase has given is that we “should have known our payments would increase.” Who would possibly anticipate their mortgage increasing so dramatically within a year’s time?
Juliana, you might want to confirm that your taxes are homesteaded. If they are non-homstead and the home is your primary residence, you are paying nearly double what you should. Contact your county treasurer to find out if your taxes are homestead or non-homestead and then find out what you need to do to get them corrected.
Also, if there is an escrow shortage, you can usually get the mortgage servicer to extend the repayment of the that shortage by as much as 60 months. You must contact Chase and request that they spread the repayment out otherwise they will attempt to collect it within tweelve months which is why your payment went up so much. I hope this helps and if you should have any other questions visit http://www.MichiganMortgageModification.com and set an appointment to speak with us.
Same exact thing is happening to our family, with the exception that this has been going on for two years. Chase has threatened to foreclose on my home After me advising them that I will refer this matter to the Attorney General’s office, I now have a third “loan modification” agreement.
We will wait and see how this one turns out. They are really unprofessional and incompetent. No one knows what they are doing at Chase.
I see I posted on here in August. Ironically, it is now April of 2011 and we are still battling. We have gotten letters from Chase stating they are working on our modification (about every three days), even from people who when you call their number and extension, don’t exist at Chase. We have gotten a letter stating that foreclosure will start on a specific date. We were then, two days later, informed they were still working on our modification. then we were notified by a congressman’s office that we contacted, that we were not approved because we didn’t have enough income. NO KIDDING. That’s why we need a modification. BUT, when we contacted Chase for about the 899th time, we were told that was incorrect, and they were still working on our modification. So now, 16 months into this mess, we are still here. Can they be anymore incompetent. They are a joke. Yet when they asked for help, we taxpayers had to bail them out. What can be done about this mess?????
Trevor – I hope you are still around here. Question – how do some people get their mortgage carried out to more years (i.,e was 30 years, then get it for 40 years so their monthly payments are less). Chase doesn’t want to do anything like that, but I’ve heard so much about this. Any insight on that? Thank you so much!
Lori
Lori, in order to extend the term on your loan to 40 years you would have to qualify for a loan modification typically under the governments Making Home Affordable program. That means that your exisiting first mortgage payment, including principal, interest, taxes and insurance must be greater than 31% of your gross income. The free video series offered on this blog will show you if you qualify or you can email me your contact info and we can talk about your situation.
Awesome Trevor – thank you.
I first requested a modification from Chase approximately two years ago. They told me that I needed to be further behind on my payments to be considered so should wait a couple of months and then contact them. After a couple of months I talked to them and received a modification packet. Long story short, we have submitted the modification packet at least 6 times. I would submit it and then they would tell me that they had everything they need; it shouldn’t be long now. Then we would get another packet saying we were short one piece of info and would need to make the whole packet current.
As of last August, we were $14,000 behind and still no resolution. We asked them to put the amount on the back of the loan and please work with us. They would not do it, and in fact they sent back a payment that we tried to make saying that it wasn’t enough to bring the loan current.
In October we were served Foreclosure papers. We have now been trying to get them to accept a short sale on our property. We have an offer that is very fair, but will not now cover the $40,000 in late fees that Chase has tacked on. Chase hired an appraiser to get a value on the house, she valued the house at least $50,000 over what it is worth. Surely they told her what they wanted the value to be because there are no comparable houses in the area that are worth this amount. Now Chase says we make too much money and cannot qualify for the short sale, which by the way, they already told us that we would qualify for. But, get this, Chase has offered to accept our offer and finance us for the rest for up to 15 years. What!! We asked for a very similar result 8 months ago and they refused. Now that they have added another $26000 in fees and penalties, they are willing to finance us.
If you do ever accidentally stumble across someone at Chase that is competent and actually cares and wants to help, the rules seem to be that you may never speak to that person again. I do not want to file bankruptcy and I also do not want a foreclosure on my record. Very frustrating. I owe them the money, I do not dispute that. I just asked for some help and Chase has delayed this so much that the amount I owe is fast approaching insurmountable. I hate them!!!!
We have had inquiries from the Wisconsin Attorney General regarding the treatment we have received. We did not want to go that route but my wife and I are tired of being crapped on so we will be talking to the AG.
I would not trust Chase Bank to make change for the parking meter.
Good luck to everyone else out there.
I hate Chase pure and simple. Is there a government watchdog that we can sic on them? I have been negotiating a loan modification with them for so long, I now have grey hair! I just want them to do their job instead of giving me the run around and to monthly ask me for the same documents that I faxed them 6 times already!
